Mad Men in Manhattan Pied-à-terre
A refuge for the well-traveled soul. Part great hotel, part personal sanctuary, and entirely its own world.
Designed for a well-traveled client who moves fluidly between the world's great cities, this Manhattan pied-à-terre was conceived as a private refuge with the soul of a great hotel and the intimacy of something far more personal.
The brief was clear: a space that could hold its own against a life lived at the highest level. The response is a room layered with collected pieces that feel sourced over decades and across continents, each object with a story, each material chosen for depth and resonance. Warm teak, aged leather, soft lighting, and a sweeping toile mural create an atmosphere that is at once worldly and deeply cozy.
The space operates in two registers. By day it is considered and refined — a quiet, sun-drenched retreat from the city. By night it transforms: moody, intimate, and undeniably seductive. A place to pour a drink, sink into the sofa, and feel completely at home.
